#OneNation | Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence

All Americans including our elected leaders, should live in an environment where they can pursue everday activities without fear of being shot

A gunman opened fire at a GOP baseball practice in Alexandria, VA on June 14th injuring House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, a congressional aide, a lobbyist, and two Capitol police officers.

First and foremost, our thoughts are with those who have been shot and with their loved ones, and we commend the heroic effort by the law enforcement officers who intervened.

This wasn't even the only high profile shooting in the country that day. Another gunman killed 3 people at a UPS facility in San Francisco, and hundreds more across American were injured or killed by gun violence yesterday.

Because no matter what political party you belong to, what you look like, or where you're from, we are one nation that's had enough of this horrific violence. We all have the same goal here: to make this nation safer.

We agree on the goal and the solutions backed by 93% of Americans to get us there, and we hope we can all work together to achieve that vision.
