  • Through this web site and the We Are Better Than This campaign, we are growing the network of individuals, families, community organizations, faith-based institutions and others who are committed to reducing deaths and injuries caused by senseless acts of gun violence.

    Share your personal story about gun violence. Why are you ready to see a safer America? What was the moment you decided to get involved? With this submission form, you can tell your personal story through words, pictures, and videos—you can also share the story of a loved one lost to or injured by gun violence.

  • Your contact information will not appear in your tribute. The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence will not share or distribute your contact information.
  • Best number to reach you if we have a question about your submission.
  • Maximum 2,500 characters. Approximately 350 words.
  • Upload a photo of your loved one from your computer. Images must be JPEG, GIF or PNG files and will be resized to fix in a 225 x 300 pixel space. Maximum acceptable file size is 1.5 mb.
  • To include a video with your story, please paste your YouTube, Vimeo or other video embed code here. If possible, please set video embed width to 425 pixels. Video will be displayed at a maximum width of 425 pixels.
  • The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence reserves the right to use your story in other public materials.
