  • Through this web site and the We Are Better Than This campaign, we are growing the network of individuals, families, community organizations, faith-based institutions and others who are committed to reducing deaths and injuries caused by senseless acts of gun violence.

    Share the story of a loved one who was lost to or hurt by gun violence. With this submission form, you can tell the story of your loved one and post a photograph and/or video message. (To view Tributes posted by others, click here).

  • Your contact information will not appear in your tribute. The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence will not share or distribute your contact information.
  • Best number to reach you if we have a question about your submission.
  • Maximum 2,500 characters. Approxmately 350 words.
  • Upload a photo of your loved one from your computer. Images must be JPEG, GIF or PNG files and will be resized to fix in a 225 x 300 pixel space. Maximum acceptable file size is 1.5 mb.
  • To include a video in your tribute, please paste your YouTube, Vimeo or other video embed code here. If possible, please set video embed width to 425 pixels. Video will be displayed at a maximum width of 425 pixels.
  • The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence reserves the right to use Tribute stories in other public materials.
