In our mid-west USA university’s Speech class, a student pulled a gun out of a paper bag, in 1966 or 1967, I think. He put a bullet in the gun. Without many words to his “speech” he slowly waved the gun over our heads as we sat in the chairs in the class. Then he went on with his “speech”. I don’t remember what it was about, nor much fuss about the incident, then. I’m horrified now. Guns were allowed, but locked in the House Mother’s locker until requested for hunting season purposes. But I saw others in the Men’s dorm with other pistols. What were we thinking? How many great lives have been snuffed in thoughtless moments, and unsupervised “play”, and immature “manly” rage?
Who needs it? Australia’s policy is better than the current USA’s proven, tragic, continuing experiences.

The second amendment was written in a very different world than the one we live in today. I wonder what the founding fathers would think of assault weapons in hands of children. Certainly this isn’t what they had in mind. The NRA has used this amendment to defend their right to sell weapons and promote the use of firearms with reckless abandon. They haven’t made our world safer. They’ve made it more deadly.

Equiping all guns to be sold to civilians with a sensor which allow only the owner of a firearm to fire it would eliminate almost all child to child to child gun deaths.

I know im late but when something like this happen comfort is always need. I pray God gives u mom and Noah his arms at all times when ever u need them and i want to thank u mom for letting Noah know his mother n sister’s place is now with good the best place to be this is so hard for me 4 years later but i pray it has gotting easier for u im a mother myself but God is n control let he make the way for Noah and yourself my heart body n soul goes out to you and your family i love u and pray that God keep you in him arms
