The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence works to pass and enforce sensible federal and state gun laws, regulations, and public policies through grassroots activism, electing public officials who support common sense gun laws, and increasing public awareness of gun violence. Through our Million Mom March and Brady Chapters, we work locally to educate people about the dangers of guns, honor victims of gun violence, and pass sensible gun laws, believing that all Americans, especially children, have the right to live free from the threat of gun violence.
The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence works to reduce gun violence through litigation, education, outreach and mobilization. We reform the gun industry by representing victims of gun violence to hold the gun industry accountable in the courts; we defend sensible gun laws; we educate the public about gun violence and the need for strong regulation, and engage in outreach to affected communities, and grassroots mobilization.
Brady Campaign and Million Mom March Chapters are a nationwide network of grassroots volunteers working for sensible guns laws to protect you, your family, and your community. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. Whether you’re interested in volunteering a couple of times a year or a couple of times a week, our Chapters need and appreciate your support.
