Being anti-gun my whole life, I don’t profess to know the deep inner dialog of people who choose to carry a firearm, not even my own son. I’d like to say that I at least understand, but when the result is the loss of life, which in thousands of incidents in this country every year, it is, I just don’t get it. Between the deliberate acts, suicides & accidents, I will never understand. Another year is coming to a close, another year will begin. None of us will ever be the same, and that is as it should be.
