Mayor Vincent C. Gray, Del. Eleanor Holmes-Norton, and Rep. Jim Moran will be guest speakers, along with local victims and survivors of gun violence, at the Washington, D.C. candlelight vigil service at 5:30 p.m. at D.C.’s historic Shiloh Baptist Church.

In addition to Mayor Gray, the D.C. vigil will include speakers such as Nardyne Jeffries, who lost her 16-year-old daughter in a March 2010 mass shooting in Washington, DC; William Kellibrew, who lost a mother and brother in a shooting when he was 10, and Colin Goddard, who survived being shot four times at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007.
