Kelsey bought a handgun believing that he needed it for self-protection since he lived and worked in a crime-filled area of town. But, tragically, he used the gun against himself March 2010.
A gun is far more likely to be used against you or a loved one for self-protection but there is no taking back what happened. Our hearts break for all those lost to such senseless gun violence.

Having a gun so accessible makes rash and irreversible actions so much more likely. My heart goes out to this young man who had his whole life ahead of him and his family whose pain is so great.
