On October 4,2008,17 year old Brooke Suzanne McDonald,my darling daughter was shot and killed by a 20 year old man. He said he thought he had taken all the bullets out of his .44 magnum handgun,before he pointed it at her head and pulled the trigger hitting her in the temple and killing her instantly. She was at a small gathering of about 8 other people.
Two people witnessed the shooting right before he pulled the trigger he said”I could kill you all” pointed the gun at my daughter she said”I’m not scared” then he pulled the trigger. She did not know this man very well. He has been charged wih manslaughter. One other person who was in the apartment but did not witness the murder,took the gun and hid it. He and the shooter made up a story that my daughter was playing with the gun when it went off. The other fellow has been charged with felony tampering with evidence.
The police say this guy is remorseful. I hear he is only worried about how much time he is going to serve.The police call it an accident. I call it murder! He has taken our precious daughter from us. We cant believe she is gone ! She had a smile that would bighten up every room she walked into. She was my shinning star! We love and miss her more than anyone knows!
I will not rest until he pays for taking her life. I intend to push for a lengthy prison sentence! I hope I get “JUSTICE FOR BROOKE”
