Title: Suicide Among Discharged Psychiatric Inpatients in the Department of Veterans Affairs

What does it say?

Veterans living in states with stronger gun laws are less likely to commit suicide with a firearm. As well, the data suggest that access to a gun increases the overall risk of suicide.

How can I use it?

It is of critical importance to protect all Americans, including veterans, by adopting strong gun laws.
