CLEVELAND MURDER OUTRAGEOUS WELL BEFORE SHOOTER HIT "POST"

WASHINGTON - Brady Campaign president Dan Gross issued the following statement on the shooting death of Robert Godwin in Cleveland, Ohio.

"What makes this incident outrageous isn't just that it was shared online, but that an innocent man is dead. It was already horrific and inhumane well before the shooter hit 'post.' Dozens of Americans die every day the way Mr. Godwin did - shot with a gun, often by someone who should have never had one in the first place. We hardly ever hear their stories, but we need to. We need to be as equally outraged about them."
