BRADY CAMPAIGN STATEMENT ON ALEXANDRIA SHOOTING

WASHINGTON - Brady Campaign Dan Gross issued the following statement on the shooting at a congressional baseball practice in Alexandria this morning.

"While the details are still unfolding, it is clear that another tragedy has occurred in our nation. Multiple shots were fired this morning in Alexandria, VA, resulting in a terrifying scene and several injuries, including the reported shooting of Rep. Scalise. Our thoughts are with those who have been shot and with their loved ones, and we commend the heroic effort by the law enforcement officers who intervened. All Americans, including our elected leaders, should live in an environment where they can pursue every day activities without fear of being shot."
