What does it say?  People with permits to carry loaded hidden handguns in public commit dangerous acts with their guns.  The gun lobby claims that we will all be safer because "law-abiding" permit holders will deter and thwart crime.  This claim rests on the idea that permit holders are "the good guys."  The incidents in this fact sheet document that some permit holders are indistinguishable from "the bad guys."

How can I use it?  Use this fact sheet to debunk  the gun lobby claim that people with a permit to carry a concealed weapon are universally law-abiding.  On the contrary, many permit holders have committed crimes with their weapons.
