Statement from Dan Gross, President, Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence

“As an organization dedicated to preventing gun violence, we are disturbed by the politicizing of a bill by the corporate gun lobby and their supporters in Congress that has nothing to do with guns. Legislation, like postal reform, should not be vehicles to weaken our nation’s gun laws. Instead, Congress should be focused on real solutions to gun violence currently sitting on the desks of lawmakers, like expanding Brady background checks to online and gun show sales.”
