When making a gift of stock to us, you receive the benefit of not having to pay capital gains tax on the securities, provided you have held the securities for at least one year.

The Brady Campaign directs our federal and state lobbying programs. The Campaign seeks to mobilize a grassroots network of supporters in targeted districts and states. It also seeks to increase public awareness of gun violence issues, and to aggressively monitor and counter the arguments of the gun lobby. The Campaign also works to elect public officials at all levels of government who support sensible gun laws. Contributions to the Brady Campaign are not tax-deductible.
