This position will report to the Director of Partnerships and work closely with the Senior Partnerships Manager to oversee Brady's partnership program with its Victim / Survivors (V/S) activists. The individual will organize the database of existing Brady V/S activists and work to expand Brady's network. The individual will also work on other Brady partnership program duties as assigned, including duties for regional leadership councils, the president's advisory board, organizational partnerships and the social norm change advisory board. The individual will be expected to provide the highest level of relationship management with V/S activists and other Brady partnership program members as needed. To achieve this, the incumbent will interact regularly with V/S activists and other partnership contacts through in-person and phone meetings, events, and other Brady activities. This will include regular communication to keep these stakeholders informed and engaged at appropriate levels. Occasional last minute travel to locations in the wake of significant tragedies will be required as part of Brady's rapid response protocol.


  • Oversee the Brady V/S activist partnership program to ensure Brady has strong relationships with all existing V/S activists and nurture these relationships for the mutual benefit of the V/S activists themselves and for Brady
  • Lead the engagement process with new V/S activists following significant events, moving them up the ladder of engagement from sharing their story to strong activist
  • Identify, cultivate and leverage victim and survivor stories to help further the goals of Brady and the activist
  • Maintain institutional information of V/S activists and stories
  • Support Director of Partnerships and Senior Partnerships Manager on other partnerships responsibilities as needed
  • Help in development of marketing and communication materials as needed
  • Provide administrative assistance as needed


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in grassroots non-profit or political organizing
  • Experience working with victims of violence, diverse communities, or the faith community, strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate relationships, connect and work successfully with volunteers and other organizational units to achieve common objectives
  • Ability to handle projects simultaneously and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to accomplishing goals of position and partnerships department overall
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite knowledge
  • Experience with database management software is a plus
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Commitment to sensible gun laws and reducing gun violence
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stress
  • Ability to meet regular attendance/tardiness policies
  • Ability to work some nights and/or weekends
