Honor the Victims: Close the Gun Show Loophole

In more than 100 events around America, family and friends of Virginia Tech victims, along with Million Mom March chapters, community allies and activists, took time to remember the 100,000 people who are killed or injured every year in America with firearms, as well as their families and loved ones.

They also spoke out. "There are too many gun violence victims — and there is something we can do about it: close the gun show loophole!"

Local activists organized victim memorials, lie-in demonstrations, candlelight vigils, marches, rallies, and press events in the communities listed below. Click on a city (in red) to find out what occurred in your area.
